Long Island's North Fork

Beginning about 75 miles east of New York City lies The North Fork of Long Island. The landscape of the North Fork consists of several small towns/hamlets surrounded by vineyards, apple orchids and potato/sod farms. Bodies of water (including the Long Island Sound, Great Peconic Bay, Little Peconic Bay and Gardiners Bay) lie just to the north, south and east of the North Fork .
